Minutes to 2011

This is the last night of 2010... Let us pray for all the blessings, the hard times, the joyful time and not so joyful moments. All have been given to us to pass this life and we should be able to take lessons from those moments.

May the year 2011 bring the best in life for us and will be another full of blessing year...

Hanging out with friends

This is our last time hanging out together in the year 2010 :)

It is a bit sad welocoming the year 2011... As this will mean I am growing old already... hahahaha... Anyway, next year I have to be more concentrate on things that I have been planning ^___^

Hope for the best in the year 2011 :)

Let it go

One of my next year resolution is to learn to let go whatever things that hurt me, that pretend to be close but they actually never forgive me...

I think is better that way rather than keep on pretending being so close and understand to each other but still hurt one another...

After all, friends are hard to be found but foes will always be there around you...

Spending my holiday

To hide my guilt by keep on watching movies on DVD player, I decided to copy all my contacts from my handphone to phone book. A real phone book, wrote them down all of the details. Names, addresses, phone numbers and birthdays.

At least if in case I loose my handphone (which of course hopefully never going to happen) I have a manual back up :)

Something new

Everyday you learn something new that you need to remember... Even though your finding probably not something that might excite you or anything like that...at the least you have the chance to know about it...

I learned really well that my good intention will not always be something other people could accept. I learned very well that something I thought was good or great could irritate other people simply because my lack of understanding...

Knowledge is something to ponder about...

2nd Day of Christmas

Nothing beats the joy of celebrating Christmas other than be with your family and of course with your friends...

One of my friends suggested that we exchanging gifts no more than IDR 15,000.00 so there we were having a good time together... Eating lots of JUNK FOODS (okay, this was not a thing to be bragged about) and having beers all in one occasion...

I suppose being a friend to one another is to be able to understand each other, able to forgive each other and able to let it pass and just appreciate the time that we have together...and understand when is the time you have to resign from being a friend...

So sorry for being such a crappy friend to all of you...and thank you so much for your understanding ^___^

*PS. so sad with the our National Team lose the game from Malaysia... Hope we can still catch up on the next game! And to those people PLEASE STOP ASKING THEM TO GO OUT ON USELESS DINNER OR OTHER WASTING TIME ACTIVITIES! GET A LIFE!!!*

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas dear all

Hopefully we can be a better person in our life... Stop being jealous with other people's prosperity... Stop holding grudge towards other people... IF WE CAN...do not keep our anger and hate to all those people who did terrible things to us...

May love and peace be on earth...

God bless us all...

Christmas eve

Have you ever try on a diet and how estatic you were when finding out that you has lost one kilogram? Even it is only a small one but you are so happy and then decide to give yourself a present! And that present is eating another basket of chicken nugget or a box of chocolates... Eventually, without waiting too long you have gained more weight than before...

Hehehehe, sometimes I think in life we sort of like that... We remember all the good things that we have done... We missed to realize that because it was so few that is why we remember them all... And since we have done so many bad things daily we hardly remember them as it has become our habit...

Furthermore, we want something in return for those few good deeds... And we become angry when we did not get it...

Well, on this Christmas eve we should remember about all the bad things that we did and not just a few good things and expect for something nice in return...

Let us pondering about what we have done and have not done for the good in our life... and become someone new... Someone better...

Let us welcome Christmas day together ...

Tips...

Do you often giving tips to the waiter or waitress after you have lunch or dinner at a restaurant? Or have you ever leave a tip for barista at Starbucks or any other coffee shop? Probably not, right?

I think tipping is not a common thing to do here in Indonesia... But nowadays, people wouldn't mind to be given tips... Of course they probably grumbled when receiving tips in small amount. Usually I gave tips to my hairdresser especially when I happy with his work.

Sometimes, I leave tips or did not take the change to waiter or waitress in small restaurant. Bigger restaurant usually charged the customer with tax and service and therefore I do not feel the need to give them tips.

And if the waiter and waitress behaving like a moron or impolite...then tipping is a no  no....

Dear Mother...

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!

Thank you for all the love, scolds, hugs, tears, screams and care that you have given me ^___^

I would not be here right now if it was not for you being my Mother...

Our relationship has been through ups and down but hopefully our love will stay the same...

Love you MOM :)

Books to be read

Gramedia Grand Indonesia celebrate its 2th birthday by giving 30% discount to all the books and it has made me and my friends go crazy... We bought so many books to be read and therefore I decided one thing for sure...

I think I will reduce my time for online and blogging and start to read at least half of the books that I bought in frenzy yesterday. I do not want that by next year then realizing I have not read tonz of books that I bought impulsively. Beside, reading books often give me ideas about what to write.

Plus, gosh...Christmas is sooo near... I am considering to not go online at all on Christmas eve and Christmas day :) Really wish I could stop gluing on my handphone but not sure I am going to make it through... Sighed...
But anyway, I just want to spend my Christmas day by going to the church with my Mom, reminiscing what I have been doing for the passing months...and sipping my hot chocolate while try to pick any new books to read:)
Ah, what a nice moment for me time with God and just with me...

Thank you God we won again :)

Yayyy! Indonesia won again last night...

You know what...I awas so tense I did not dare to watch the game last night... I only knew that we have won when my Mom told me afterwards and by the sound of fireworks zooming to the sky around the neighborhood

Come to think of it, I am never really good at loosing. Or to accept the fact that I have lost the game or competition... I would be sulking in my room and not have a big heart to just let it go... Or I would keep on thinking why on earth I did not do this or that to prevent me from being loose. And so on... Shortly, I am the kinda person who hold the grudge ... Sighed...  KIDDING

Anyway, I sincerely hope our Indonesian team will be the winner for the championship... Indonesia really need something we can be proud of after all natural disasters... May the best team win the game! Which would be tough because they are going face to face with Malaysian team...

CAN'T SLEEP!

Thanks to that damn coffee I could not sleep at all last night... So, now in the wee of the morning here I am typing this post on my blog... Blah.

Since I am wide awake though very tired I am starting to delete several acquaintances from my friend's list on Facebook. First, I hardly know them and we never said hi to each other. Of course come to think of it, I do not understand why they add me as their friends and why in the heck I approve their request if I have no idea about them at all? And thinking about it, I have requested few people to be my friends, but I did not contact them afterwards.... Probably because I was a bit lazy as I did not receive any response on my personal message to them. So, they approved my request but wants nothing more to do with me... Hmmm, probably they will be next to be removed...

Last but not least, I can not believe but I was totally mesmerized to see the size of this Christmas tree in front of Grand Indonesia mall. So, like a tourist I took pictures along with many others who wants to have something to be remembered on this giant Christmas tree. I feel sorry for those workers who built it and later they have to take it all over again... Well, nothing last forever...

Annoying sales person

A few days ago, my Mom went to find new refrigerator as the old one are nearly reaching its end. Most of the sales persons were helpfull. They told her which brand that is better from the others. And if they were out of stock they told her honestly and suggest to go to another branch. All nice but one.

This last one is working at Carrefour Mangga Dua. A very impolite and lazy sales person. Since I did not come with her, I only listen from her story. He lazily told my Mom that if she really want the refrigerator then she has to pay all in advance not just a down payment. And afterwards, the good would be delivered within one week or two weeks. As if he is saying, you want it then you have to follow my rule. And I thought customer is the king... PFFFF...

You know, if only we were not thinking that they need their job, if I was on the spot I would have probably reported his behavior to his manager... He was so not helpful, impolite and could not care about what customer need.

Customer not always the king I suppose...

INDONESIA WON!!!

Earlier few hours ago, Indonesia has won the game with score 1: 0 against Philippine!!!

Hahahah, funny to think that years ago my Mom and I would immediately turn off the television once the soccer game was on air. We never really grasp the fun of kicking the ball all over the field to here and there... It's no fun to watch... And if my Dad insist on watching we would all escape to our room or doing something else.

Finally when I am older I try to be sensible and accompanied my Dad every time he is watching soccer game. I do feel a bit sorry for him, being the only man in the house he has nobody to talk with about the game... The only knowledge I got were from newspaper as I never really enjoyed watching it...

But now, ever since Indonesian team surprisingly won from their first game up to now...suddenly we are all in the soccer-watching-mood and both me and my Mom glued to the television watching our team compete with other Asian teams... My Dad is going to cry seeing the fact he won't have to watch the soccer game alone from now on... *LOL*

The real meaning...

What's the meaning of Christmas?

It's the celebration of the birth of baby Jesus... and most people said it is our celebration to our re-birth to be better person in our life...
But look at every decorations at the malls or listening to Christmas songs... Mostly about Christmas tree or Santa Claus...

We are too busy in the celebration euphoria and seems at lost about the real meaning of Christmas... We are too busy with the meals, new clothes, vacation trip and et cetera. We often just remember about the fun of it without thinking any further of the real meaning... Me included...

Hopefully, this year I could find the real meaning of celebration Christmas with people that I love dearly... Family and friends...

Between human and animal

Do you see the first picture of this ruddy looking cat?

When I took a photo of this street cat, he looked at me in alert. As if he was preparing himself for the worst and get ready to escape the premises. I am sure that all his life he has received many kicks or beating from people who dislike street cats. Has been living in that kind of situation make him look creepy and always in ready position to defend himself. He seems aware that he will have to protect himself and assuming all humans are bad and just want to hurt him. As soon as I straighten up my body he ran far away from me. He did not want to risk that I might hit him with something.

And the other picture is my unofficial cat, who looked at me in mild curiousity...

His eyes does not show any fear or suspicion... He simply looked at me eagerly...not because he loves me but just because he is hungry... heheheh... The point is, he knows I would not mean any harm to him. He also has learnt though that not all humans like me. He always run as soon as he heard my mom coming out from the house. He knows my mom hates cat especially street cat like him. He only wants to be around me and my cousin as we are the one who keep on feeding him.

I think when we have been surrounded with bad people or worst situation ever, chances are we are going to be a very pesimistic person and hard to believe that world can be a better place. We only know that everybody is out there to get somebody else. That promises easily said but never kept. Being used by other people for their own benefit. Get used to the insult and scold that has been degrading ourselves and turn us into a person with no pride and confidence.

However if you are in a better situation, you learn how to distinguish bad people from good people. You are alert but never loose confidence that there are really good people out there. People who probably makes mistake once in a while but never meant you any harm. You see the world as a beautiful place to live in and always expecting good things from others.

Kinda funny that there is a same situation between human and animals, right?

promises and promises...

Hmmm, all these times I always promise myself that I am going to memorize at least complete one Christmas Song...but I never did...

There are so many things that we have promised either to ourselves and to others but very often we forget that we ever said it... It was like an easy thing to say, but it will be a hard thing to do.

We always have excuses like "OH, WE DO NOT HAVE TIME... " , or "DID I REALLY SAY THAT? REALLY?", "SURE I STILL REMEMBER AND WE WILL DO IT LATER... I PROMISE..." We even have not complete the first promise already we let it out another promise to be broken.

Promises easily let out especially when we need something from other people. Like we need them to support us and in return we promise to give anything that they want... Of course, when we finally have the thing that we want or need...we will consider the promise that we have given. Then come the second thought that the thing we have is not equally worth with the thing that we have promised... So we pretend not to remember or will try anything to not fullfill our promise...

Promises...promises... easily to be said but it is hard to be fullfilled...

Lazy by technology

Don't you think that we are now totally being spoilled by technology? I meant, I use to remember easily my friend's phone numbers. But now, I even too lazy to remember my own phone's number.

I used to have this little phonebook, fill with phone and address of my friends and colleagues. I even put their birthday so of course I could remember to greet them on their birthdays

But using phone book was so old school... I hardly ever done it... Naturally I am being lazy as even though I have lost my SIM Card and therefore loose all my phone's numbers...it did not drive me to make another copy manually on a book.

Now, it gets worst as mostly I just exchange pin numbers in order to be able to have a chit chat through Blackberry Messenger with my friends and totally forget to ask their phone number! So if the internet connection was not available and I could not reach them through Blackberry Messenger all I could do is just staring at my Babybeth (name of my Blackberry, heheheh) as I do not have my friend's phone number...

Technology created to help us the user but often we take advantage to cover our lazyness... SIGHED...

After watching Rapunzel

picture taken from http://www.21cineplex.com

I went to watch RAPUNZEL yesterday with my friends... Usually I do not like watching a movie with 3D but then what the heck... We chose to sit far away at the back to avoid getting dizzy... The thing is I am wearing glasses otherwise everything will be blur... (yeah, that's the point of wearing glasses). So, by watching 3D movie means I have to wear double glasses and that was not very comfortable... It kept sliding down from my nose and that's what made me dizzy... But good thing I have over come that... Though I am totally not looking forward to watch another movie in 3D... TOO EXPENSIVE!!!

Anyway, there was this interesting dialogue between Rapunzel and Eugene... Like any other movies for children, dreams always something to talk about... How you want something so badly and you get confuse... Should I try to get it or not? But what after all the troubles I have been through the dream turn out not like I expected? And what if the dream does fulfill my expectation... Then what afterwards? The Eugene character said to Rapunzel... then find another dream...

When you finally have something that you want, then don't stop there... Have another new dream for you to reach... I suppose that is how we appreciate life that has been given to us... To want something and fight hard to get it... :)

Nice... Love the movie... Hopefully it can jolt my mind to write something interesting...

Pssst, now I know why most women loves bad boys.... On movies even animation from Disney...the bad boys always have sincere and honest heart and in the end willing to sacrifice everything for the women that they love so dearly.... Oh dear... How many times we should tell ourselves that there are no such things? *between sobs and grinning*

Texting or eating?

I find it a bit amusing when i read this on Reader Digest Asia December edition about whether is a poor etiquette to text while having a meal...

Hmmm... Interesting...

I remembered my parents sort of complained about my bad habits, eating my meals and at the same time I was also watching television. Or another time, they found me eating very slowly because at the exact same time I was trying to read my book. I guess my parents prefer me to finish whatever I choose to do first then do the other activity later on instead at the same time. They probably thinking how on earth I was going to concentrate with my meals? Or enjoying my meals at the least if I was also busy doing something else.

And now, ever since the technology of easier communicating...with handphone arrive... I was also loves texting during my meals. Or even checking emails and chatting as well... Now I read that it will mean I have poor etiquette...

I would agree if I was having meal with other people. Even when we just sat together and instead of talking to my friend but all I do is busy with my gadget then yeah... I am really having a poor etiquette.

But then, if you are used to do things like this when you are alone...big chances that you will be doing it again when you are having meal with other people...

Unless it is very important...then I suppose yeah... if there is any other living breathing person with us... it is not polite at all...

Maybe once in a while we should remind ourselves that we should be close with someone that really there instead of with those who is out there... ^___^

Can we do that?

Often we talked and wondered would we not be doing the same thing if we have the chance?

let us just say that we get a good position in this company... But we did not get it by ourselves... Unfortunately we got it through the help of someone inside the company. Even though we have the quality to sit in that position but nevertheless without connection from inside the company we would not make it.

So afterwards...we feel we owe to the person that has helped us. So, whenever that person need help we feel oblige to make it happen. Eventually, whether we want it or not we sort of making some kind of a community that helped us getting the job done, have extra money and know which one to be trusted to make our job run smoothly...

Whenever my Dad complained about all of that I joked with him that if he ever make it to have that top position, he probably would bring the entire city to work with him and be his colleague, partners, or anything to support his job. And will take whatever bribe that he think necessary to keep his projects running and able to feed the entire community...

Naturally, it will take a lot of effort to avoid the temptation of money, free rides, illegal offers and anything to make profit to ourselves...

But then again, do we really have fun to have all that kind of money over other people's suffering?

Probably if your heart made from stone..then the answer is yes...

Anyway I hope this day will be celebrate always and not just end in a pointless celebration...

Post Power Syndrome

My online friends and I are making this story or poem or anything related with topic : Post Power Syndrome.
What is that Post Power Syndrome? I read that is a kind of situation that affected people who used to have high power in the society. They used to get easy access to everything, people fear and respected them for their power. And all of that are gone as soon as they step down from their high position. They have to be regular people again, not surrounded with assistants who greedily waiting for their order… And most of all they feel nobody respect them anymore as now they are just the same as any other people.

Well, I have met this kind of person once when my Mom was admitted to the hospital two years ago. My dad said his salary was not much but at least at the old page his company still provides him with medical allowance to pay for hospital bill. Anyway, on that hospital her so-called roommate bragging about that we should not do this and that inside the room. Saying that her hubby work here in the company which it turn out the same company with my dad… I told her that I need no information about that as my Dad has retired from that company. Not want to lose the useless debate she then mumbling that her husband still working and therefore their family has higher hierarchy than pensioner.

Later on, when her husband and my father finally see face to face it turn out that her hubby also has retired. Though her hubby position was higher than my dad but her hubby respected and remembered my dad as his senior. He said he learnt a lot from my Dad. That shut her off. Though still from time to time she wanted to give impression as if she owns that hospital. I could not turn on the television at night because it was too noisy… Or I could not move around the furniture inside the room and blah, blah, blah…

Since I have never been in a high position that gives me a power to make other people’s life miserable or happy therefore I have no idea about losing that kind of power…  Come to think of it, probably that is a good thing… I totally can understand if in the previous life you abuse that power to make other people’s life like a living hell then naturally you will feel upset to not be able to abuse it again… If you have that power but using for good cause then you will gladly step down from your higher position and enjoy the retirement life. You do not need that power but it came along with the job and the responsibility. So you did not use abuse that power. People respect you because you know what to do and how to handle things. And they will always remember you without you demand them to do so.

If someday someone bickering and accusing you not being polite and respect them while you are totally sure you already have then probably that person is having post power syndrome… She or he used to have the best treatment ever and therefore expecting to have that special treatment always…

They should learn that was then this is now…

Got it wrong before get it correctly...

When we went traveling for a long time, obviously we prefer to bring suitcase to carry all our needs. And to be safe, we have to memorize code in numbers to lock our suitcase.

We have to press both right and left near the numbers and then we choose numbers to be the lock for our suitcase. After we chose the number we release our pressing both on right and hand. And there we have our lock.

But have you ever try to open your suitcase and find that you are not successful? Were you panic? I am sure you have. Me too!

Once, I have tried to open my suitcase but finding no luck at all. Naturally I got panic and grew angry. I was totally positive that I remembered the password correctly. I am a very forgetful person so usually I pick easy combination. Like 123 or 456, something like that. But now, those combinations could not open my suitcase. My friend tried to help by calling the front desk asking them to help me. But they could not offer any assistance at all. I finally gave in.

So, like my friend suggested…which I have rejected earlier… I have to try every combination on that suitcase until I find the right one. The numbers are all : 999… So, I have to try combination from 001 up to 999 in order to have the right combination. Yikes… but that is the thing that we have to do when nothing else fail.
Possibly when I opened the suitcase I accidentally slide the number to become another combination while pressing the right and left button. I have no idea about other reason as I do not really care.

The important lesson from the above…PATIENT… Hahaha, not my style… But that was the time I need to concentrate to be patient and try every combination just to get the right one…

Perhaps sort of like life itself… We have to be patient while living our life… Bumping into problems and difficulties which seems give us no way out… But eventually, after clearing our head for a while we will be able to get the solution to fix our problem… Even to get to the right way, we have to try every step and ways in vain…

Warning

Two nights ago there was a thief inside our house. Yikes!

My Mom has been complaining for ages that the door on our second floor is not designed to be safe... It seems the thief manage to break the glass on the door, reaching for the key and entered our house. But when that thief was about to reach for my Dad's handphone the charger fell on the floor. Probably he got scare looking my Dad stir on his bed so he ran... When my Dad awake around 3 AM he was surprised to see the key located at the outside but think of nothing bad. He figured me or my cousin simply forgot to lock the door. So, he just locked the door and went back to sleep...

I wondered if that thief was panic and just simply hit my Dad in the head when he was about to awake... Or if my Dad suddenly get suspicious with the lock and decided to look around for clues... Anything can happen... But thanks God everything went out well...

At the least, we are having an early warning that the security in our house is vulnerable and it seems easily accessed by bad guys... Naturally, after this incident my Dad immediately fix the door and he decided that we should have extra door that can not be easily open from outside. We are blessed as nobody got hurt and nothing was stolen from our house...

I often heard from so many people that if by any chance they are awake and listen to any strange sound in the living room, they prefer to just lock themselves inside their bedroom and do not want to get out to have a look around... It could be just a mouse... But if that noise caused by a bunch of cruel burglars our life is at stake... Anything in this world we can find it again....but not with our life...

Thank you God for your kindness to us

Screaming...

Last weekend I went to hang out with my friends who mostly are still single...and one of them still in a relationship with her BF.

You know, I love hang out together like this... We share the same status as being single and feel that the society sometimes outcasted us... Thinking that we are in the lowest rank of the hierarchy of society.

All of us; probably since we have no children of our own are often irritated with people who bring kids sitting near us. Most of my friends love children, except me perhaps.Naturally because I have no idea how to handle them or at the least communicate with them. Which is why everytime they are screaming or shrieking...I sincerely wish to kill the paretns. Seriously. I mean...what the heck do you teach to that child so everytime has to be communicated by screaming or shrieking or crying? And always around public place... Surprisingly none of the parents seems bothered by those screaming... Once we have to move to another spot just to avoid the noise. And we also worry that when those children running around us while they carrying glasses or other things... Few years ago I saw bunch of kids with no parents to supervise them spilling drinks on other visitor at the cafe. They did apologize but the damage has been done...

Errrgh, I also hate parents who bring their babies or children to the cinemas while the movie is for adult! So, when the bloody scenes were on the screen the baby or the kid started to cry (probably in fear) but the parents just sat there... Does not seem to care that other people get antsy listening to the cry... They do not want to try to calm down their children and keep on watching the movie all the way until it finished...

I know raising children is hard...but really... Wouldn't be sad if we are having young generation with no manner thanks to their parents?

The first Sunday in December

Another lovely peaceful evening WITHOUT INDONESIAN SOAP OPERAS... Thanks goodness... I did not even care whether Indonesian team win the game or otherwise... Just as long as we did not have to listen or watch those soap operas...

Don't get me wrong... I actually LOVESS watching soap operas just not those from local television... I do not give a damn that million of Indonesian loves to watch our soap operas... I sincerely do not like them at all... My friend who is a writer for those soap operas told me that she once put rather smart dialogues and interesting story... But the producer turn it down and said the audiences does not need soap operas with clever dialogues

At the least, soap operas from Korea and Japanese at the least still offering story from real life and not just silly fantasy... hahahaha... Silly posting...

So, now... HAPPY SUNDAY... Let us all have a good rest and communicate to our Lord today... It is the first week of December and Christmas aura already around us... Hopefully we remember the real meaning of Christmas celebration...

Enjoy your weekend all...

Romantic is...

My friend created a short story for me and others to read... About romantic man...

To tell you the truth, I have no idea about romantic...

Another friend said that her idea about romantic is to have candlelight dinner and to be given roses and such...

Hmmm, perhaps romantic is that kind of feeling when you feeling happy for being with the one you love? I sometimes think, a couple who doing house chores together (without any of them bickering, naturally...) and they could make a laughable situation about it... that can be romantic too... Then after finishing the house chores together both of them just sat together... Making each other a coffee or hot chocolate... Smiling at each other in silent appreciating their works... Enjoying the moment of being alone...

Or just holding hands together walking under the evening sky...enjoying the beauty of the nature... (without any smokes from the passing vehicles..)

hahahaha, so I guess I can conclude that my kind of romantic moment is when I can spend quality time with someone without any intteruption... Just enjoying the moment of being together...feeling that I am belong to him and he is mine and mine only...

Gosh, look at me... Just reading about romantic story and it drives to think nuts... Heheheheheh

Maybe it is time for to re-watch NOTTING HILL again...

Thank you for the friendship ;)

A few days ago, my friend asked whether I have received her postcard... I said I have not... If you think my friend live somewhere across the country, no she is not... THen if you asked why in the heck she sent me postcard? Well, why the heck not?

I think people always loves receiving something from their love ones and that including from our own friend :)

She always knows how to choose a postcard with picture that can makes me smile and send words that can cheer me up... I complained to her that I still wish she sent me postcard with one of her pictures... Heheheh, human never satisfied on anything...

We have started to know each other through the internet probably around 2002 - 2003... I was joking with her that if this year is the year of 2012 or 2013 that will means we have been friends for ten years! Our friendship has been through ups and downs..., good time and bad time as well... Sometimes we think we know each other but often through our similarity we are still two different person who finds each other in the middle of billion people who use the internet...

I guess it is okay to hope that may our friendship will last longer :)

Again, thanks for the postcard ^___^

Thank you for the soccer game...

I think who ever have brilliant idea to have a soccer match between Indonesia and Malaysia last night must be really crazy. Our countries have been in disguised feud for ages... Or let us say that our countries have a love and hate relationship. In a glance people from both our countries look the same. We speak almost the same language... But again, we are different to one another... And now, there was that soccer game held here in Jakarta... There were riots on most local soccer games... I wondered the policemen must be working extra hard to ensure the Indonesian fans not going to create chaos after the game...

Anyway, I am not going to talk about the game it self... I mean, I am no soccer fan. The only moment I watched soccer whenever World Cup was on television. How can I refuse to see many gorgeous looking sweaty men running around chasing a ball on the field? I would be so silly! Not to mention to wonder who is going to win or what the late Paul the octopus would predict. Other time, I would rather changed to another channel. Or simply turn off the television and find something else to do.

But last night, I was thrilled to know that we have that game as thanks to the game there was no SOAP OPERA on television. My Mom really loves that soap operas so after dinner I usually hides inside my room in order to save myself from listening to the stupid dialogues from the soap operas... And it has given us the time to chat while watching the game.

Is there any wonderful moment other than spending the time to have a little bit of chit chat with your family without interruption from soap operas?

Maybe we should have more soccer games on television...

December here you are

Can't believe that finally December is here...

This is usually a month for me to get panic... Have I done everything that I promised myself in the beginning of the year? Overall have I succeeded to get what I desire to achieve? Or perhaps I just made another mistake and mistake and not learning anything at all...

I sincerely hope not...

This is the year when I finally take drastic decision for my life... This is also the year to test me whether I am capable to handle difficult situation which shamefully I have to admit that I am really not good at it...

But overall, I really thanking God for everything that I have and that I do not have and the thing that I am still trying to reach to have... This is the last month of 2010 and perhaps I can still use this month to finish the thing that I have been planning for ages... And this month will also giving me a chance to think about the future and hopefully I am still going to have more chances to have better life...

Hi December... You are a month to think, to rejoice and to celebrate and hopefully to finish the thing that we have started and planned since the beginning of the year...

About update status...

I have written about this at my other blog  and at kompasiana
But what the heck... Let me write it here again... :D (if you are guessing I am running out of ideas...I suppose you are right...heheheheh)

I think some of us have been itching when read update status of our own friends... Well, we love them dearly but often we are a bit tired reading their updates... Does not mean I never update a single silly status like just wrote : I am BORED. I HATE YOU. etc... Once I have been one of those people :D

Anyway, I have been thinking to use our addiction to update status for something else that hopefully can be useful someday.

If we are using taxi or perhaps public transportation from one city to another city, how about we update our status with information about the ID number of that taxi? When we are about to use taxi, then we find out the ID number printed on the door and then update our status. Like... I am otw to blah blah using taxi XYZ with ID number XYZ123. If you feel necessary, you can add up with driver's name and his Id as well. Usually this information located on the dashboard.

Well, who knows it may be usefull someday if you happen to loose your things in that taxi and decided to try to claim it... Or just to inform your friends that you are already on your way using a certain taxi...

Hope this will be useful :)

Emotional control...zero :(

I have to admit embarassingly that I have no emotion control whatsoever whenever I was in total panic...

A few days ago I bought an HP printer for myself. Considering that I am a total moron related to technical matter, I asked the sales person to install it on my notebook. He warned me that since the inks have been placed inside the printer, I have to be extra care carrying my printer home. Got it... Noticed... Understood.

But two days later when I tried to print something the print wouldn't work. It keep on blinking as a sign that there must be something wrong. To my annoyance, there was no information what kind of error that I have to deal with. I tried to call the sales person and he told me to bring the printer to their store again. What are you nuts? Do you think my home and your store only several meters away? I almost screamed at him as he keep on telling he would not know the problem unless he see it for himself.

So, I called my friend who use the same brand. She suggested me to try re-install the program. So, I did. And I tried to test print again. That was when everything clear. There was this error notification that informed me I should shut the door at the printer near. It turn out I open both door thinking that the paper will have to come out from there...

That's it.

My friend, laughing out loud listening to my confession... I totally ashamed to my outburst... That was only a little matter and yet I have loose control on my emotion... I really should learn how to tone down a bit... Sighed...

Changing to the new way

When I first using new version of airplane ticket, I have to admit that I was a bit scared.

It was only a confirmation from the airline that me and my friends have bought these tickets to Bali and back to Jakarta. We only need to print out the confirmation to be shown when we were about to check in at the airport.

Usually we have that that old version of ticket that has been given directly from the airlines or by the travel agent. Now, we just need to print out by ourselves and there... it is a valid ticket already!

picture taken from http://warungbarangantik.blogspot.com

I was totally relieved when the airline officials acknowledged the print out as valid tickets for the four of us... Totally tacky of me.

Now, I totally have a hard time to convince my parents that the print out IS a VALID AIRPLANE TICKETS. They were like, really? What if they reject me in the airport? I guess, to see is believing and therefore we have to wait until the departure time.

My parents also complaining about how most airplane does not serve meals on board. While for us, well for heaven sakes the journey will only take 2 hours at the most... If we are that hungry, then just get something to eat before we are on the plane...

I suppose if we are used to a certain things for a long time it will be hard for us to accept the new way... But then again, we have to live by it... ^___^

moderate comments

USUALLY, I have never ever moderate any comments on my blog... Considering that hardly people ever read here...or my other blog... Plus, most of my friends hardly blogging. They often confuse whenever they tried to give comment but have to type verification words...and if the comment did not show automatically they get confuse again...

So, I have tried hard to make everything more simple. Most of my friend type anonymously to comment but leave their name on the box-comment. So, I knew from whom the comment came.

A few days ago I received a comment on my other blog from anonymous person who I think misinterpret my writing. I dislike pointless argument with someone I have no idea about. Especially that someone did not leave his or her identity. I decided to delete that comment and put a warning that next time any comment from anonymous person will be deleted. My friend choose option anonymous but they always leave their names. And I also decided to turn on the moderate options for comments. And you know what, that person came back and told me I was childish to delete his/her comment. Well, it is MY BLOG. I will decide which comment appropriated to be shown to the public... And which one that only try to provoke silly argument...

Thank goodness for that moderate option so I can avoid annoying people in the future.

Megaria aka Metropole..

I used to go here ever since I was still toddler with my parents. Though I did not remember what was my first movie in this theater but I remembered all the happiness that my parents and I share...

The name of this theater has been frequently changing from originally Metropole then Megaria (as our first president was not allowing western names to be used on anything) then change again to Metropole... It has been years since the last time I saw movie in this theater. Merely because like any other people nowadays I prefer watching movie at the mall. Before watching the movie we could grab something to eat. And after the movie we could sat down at any cafe sipping coffee or hot chocolate with friends.

But since I have spare time now...I started to think rather than I have to go to the mall... then why not try to watch it here again? So there I went... And I love it... Sure it was not as fancy as the other theater but that's okay... It saved a lot because I will not be able to browse around the mall before and after watching the movie...

Metropole...or Megaria... now I am your biggest fans again :D

Simply different

It is always nice to read a motivation story or story about how the nature has to go through a painful process before reaching its beautiful looks.

I think somewhere I have read about how a person try to help a bird getting out of it’s egg. He saw how the baby bird struggle to get out and so he decided to help the little creature. The result, he has successfully let the bird out but the bird unable to stand at all. As the process of getting out was the process to strengthen it’s legs… Well, I forgot the complete story or whether this story is true or not. In short, we should not be giving up when we find ourselves in trouble. Our way to deal with the problem will make us stronger than before.

I used to like reading those kind of stories or about how a kid that has been blind ever sine she was a baby still able to reach something in her life. Because her mother teaches her that she should not surrender to her condition. But it should make her stronger. Reading that kind of stories often make me embarrassed because someone who has disability still able to achieve something in her life. And what about me who though not perfect but still in better condition compare to her or others like her?

Then again, I think that no matter how much inspiring stories or beautiful quotes that we read it would not do us any good if we don’t start to do something to get our wishes. Yeah, sure reading those inspirational stories is a necessity so we could learn and know that there are so many other people out there able to do something despite their disability. But, is that all we can do? Collecting stories? Collecting quotes and memorize them all in our mind? What good that will do if we do not do something for ourselves.

We should admire those people because their achievement but don’t compare about our situation with theirs. After all, everyone lead a very different path of life. So, that person could have everything at the age of 16. We can’t just adore them blindly or simply impressed with their stories but do nothing to our own achievement.

Everybody has different stories and different problems… Make your own stories, your own quotes and your own achievement.

p.s.
today I sent an inspirational story to a friend and she found out after browsing that the story is a hoax

to serve instead to be served

One day in the church the priest once told us something interesting.

People who have been trusted by the other members of the church and join to help the priest to serve people often act as if they are the righteous people on earth. They demand respect from the people that they should have been guiding. During the mass, they even sat in front of the people as if they are in this respective board of committee who has power above others.

Funny thing about those bunch of people who should represent the people but demand a lot like to be respected, addressed as if they are from royal family. They probably have a fantasy that they are really a royal family. Whenever they come out from their nest, there are dozens of people around them. Those people include assistant, assistant, private assistant, secretary, bodyguards. They feel important to use expensive car being guarded by the police. They enjoy the feeling of being important. They truly forget the real reason people chose them. And that is to represent the people’s need. To serve the people as they are the shepherd to guide us the lambs to the right way that our Lord teach us.

Whenever I read the newspaper about their behavior such as not attending important meetings, or sleeping all the way through the meeting, or chatting on the phone, browsing the internet, I often wondered…we really have been fooling ourselves. Thinking those people would do their job and pay attention to what is the need of the people.

In the old days, reporters are not as free as today. So I suppose this kind of behavior has been going on for ages. But since we have never known about it, we hardly care. Beside, as I could recall…life was better. We have good exchange rate against USD, all prices not as high as today (like the price of gasoline, rice and other needs).

But now, reading all those stories about how our representative behave like people who have no shame at all…getting me wonder… What’s the point knowing all of that? Is not that they are going to realize how degrading their behavior are but they are going to dismiss those facts. As if we the people overreact about them. That they have acted based on the law without even bother that people might get hurt. We are dying here and you use all that money to have fun in the name of compare studying? Seriously?

You may sit in that soft high position right now… But let us see how long you are going to sit there… Eventually you are going to get old and have no power whatsoever. You will also becoming the people who could watch in vain how their representative having a blast while others are vanishing due to the pain they have to endure.

Harry Potter part 1...for the year 2010

Taken from : http://www.mediaindonesia.com/read/2010/11/23/183479/62/10/Harry-Potter-Raih-US330-Juta-di-Box-Office-Global

Finally I went to see Harry Potter today and I love it! It is so dark just like the book as the last chapter will be the one on one battle between Harry and his long time enemy : Lord Voldemort. Unfortunately for me and the audience, this movie is the first from two parts of it. So, I have to wait patiently until next year. CRAP.

Anyway, I noticed the difference between people who have not read the book and me as one of many people who has read it. When I watch the movie, I anticipated every scenes to be compared with the book. So, if I read on the book Harry Potter and his friends entering the Ministry of magic... I was expecting that the scene would be the same as the book... Though not entirely but the modification is good :) While three teen girls sat beside me apparently have not read the book at all. So, they were sort of asking each other who was this person or that one... They screamed when several scene frightening them... I was like...OOOOKAAAAYYY....

Overall I like the movie because it was very tense. But, I think this movie is not suitable for little children because it was too dark at least for them. And the look of voldemort probably enough to make those children have nightmares on their sleep.

Truly love the movie, I am not going to mind to watch it again...and so looking forward to see the next chapter.

Wondering why...

My Dad said that people are simply different. Some people know how to pay back all the helps that they have received. But others are simply can’t get enough.

I notice for some cases related to unmarried woman with many of her siblings. Since she does not have her own family then to her family she has to be the responsible one to take care the entire family. Like if her nieces or nephews need money to pay their school tuition then their parents who are her siblings just asked her to pay for it. Usually they would start by saying,” You have no kids so you have your money for yourself. Then you have to help your other family”

Not that I against helping others especially your own siblings, but seriously if you have the courage to get married and have kids then why you have to poke around your unmarried sibling? Since she has no family of her own then does not mean she is going to have fun all by herself by wasting her money. She needs to have enough funds for herself in the future. Not so sure that her-craving-for-money-relative are going to remembered all the kindness that she has given to her family and willing to take care her in the old days.

Your unmarried sister is not your walking saving accounts or santa claus. Who will just grant your wishes without you have to work for it… Beside, isn’t that a bit weird to depend on your unmarried sister? Shouldn’t you be the one who is taking care of her instead of using her to finance all your needs? And like I said before, if you manage to get married then you should be preparing that by yourself and not bickering to your unmarried sister saying how wonderful her life is for not having other mouth to feed and asking for more and more money.

You take her help as her responsibility. You did not feel grateful because you always suspicious that she do not give you enough and still keeping more for herself. Well, hello? Is her money…isn’t it? Why are you being ungrateful? Everything in this world is not about you and your family… She has her own life to live with and actually she could just ignore you. If you have your own family then it means you are by all means an adult…
Or perhaps you are just aging but never grow up inside and keep on being selfish and ungrateful for the rest of your life? What kind of example you will be setting for your children… I will keep on wondering…

Congrats to the unexpected team :)

Hearing that Indonesian Dragon Boat team manage to wipe out three gold medals in Asian Games really makes me realize that getting all the attention and facilities does not automatically makes people motivated to do something good.

*picture taken from http://www.kompas.com*

I heard that the Dragon Boat team almost not being sent to the Asian Games. The committee probably feels that there are too many people to be sent while the chance to get gold medals was still unsure. So, they prefer to send athletes who surely going to get GOLD MEDALS. Yeah, right.

After not getting gold medals for ages, I think they should stop giving extra treatment and facilities to those athletes who unable to give anything for their countries. Like those badminton athletes! I think they are really overrated; getting too much comfort, accept too many special treatments but only a few of them return it with their achievement. The others are only know how to act like celebrity who always craving for attention.

The athlete and the committee and all the people behind them should be embarrassed. Honestly, sending people to join competition is not cheap. Please stop sending people who probably still connected to that person or this person, or just based on like or dislike. But people with achievement and talent and willing to do hard work in order to make their nation proud.

This is just another proof that accepting all nice treatment, bonuses, and facilities does not mean those people automatically will give something back. They merely just enjoy the facilities and becoming spoiled. Probably these spoiled brats is whining too when they were pushed to practice hard by the trainer. Please stop saying that other countries do it better because they have better facilities.

But then, even with all talents and capability that those athletes have it won't do them much good if people who should be responsible for them unable to do their job and be as objective as they could. Don't choose someone because she is someone's niece, or choose that person because he is simply have rich parents. Please pick and trained people that have the right to earn that.

CONGRATULATION TO THE WINNING TEAM and others who manage to achieve above target.

Pursuing your dream

I went to have a chit chat with one of my online friend who happens have self publishing her book. The book is a compile of her short stories and her very short stories.

Since she has shared a lot about the self publishing on her blog, I also asked her about her parents reaction. She is now in her last semester to become a dentist. Laughing, she said that her parents does not mind as long as she could finish her study. I told her hopefully she could do both in her life. Be a succesfull writer and a dentist as well.

From that conversation, we both agreed that if you have a dream to pursue you have to at least have friends who share the same passion with you. Otherwise, if you talk about your dream with people who has no imagination about it...then you probably have already guessed what kind reaction you are going to get...

"HEH? WHAT KIND OF DREAM IS THAT?"

"I SEE... WELL, AS LONG AS IT PRODUCE LOTS OF MONEY THEN I GUESS IS GOOD... OR IS IT?"

"DEAR, DEAR... WITH YOUR CAPABILITY NOW ARE YOU SURE YOU STILL WANT TO PURSUE YOUR DREAM?"

And there will be many more to come...

The downside thing is since your friends also sharing the same passion with you and is about to begin the same journey to reach the dream, then you probably have no idea what obstacles lie ahead. However, if you are listening too much about the obstacles and other not so promising stories it will probably blow your spirit away and you are going to have doubts whether you have choose the right path or otherwise.

Anyway, you are the one who is having a dream to be pursued. If you do not believe in your own dream, then what's the point of pursuing it?

Good luck to Vira Cla for keep on pursuing it with her first self publishing book through Nulis Buku under title : LAJANG JALANG

Want other people's belonging

My friend once told me that when she visited a department store, she realized that there was this discount event and therefore without wasting anymore minutes...she went right on to find anything that she could get.

After circling around the place she manage to find a cute pink jumpsuit that fit her perfectly. Then suddenly she heard a woman asked the sales clerk where she could find this pink jumpsuit with size "S". The sales clerk then said,"Oh there was only one left and that lady already taken it" and pointing to my friend.

For the next thirty minutes that lady keep stalking my friend in hope that my friend will drop the jumpsuit so she could snatch it... Naturally, this act only made my friend held the jumpsuit tighter and not want to let go... Finally that woman give up her stalking and my friend hurriedly paid the jumpsuit and went home happily.

Whenever we saw something that already in other people's possesion...suddenly that thing becoming valuable in front of our eyes. If that thing just laying there we probably not going to take any notice. And when finally decide to have that thing and realized that there are other people want it as well, then we realize that this thing is valuable and will never ever going to let go...

But perhaps..., don't mess up with any women when it comes to shopping on discounted prizes

HARRY POTTER! Finally!

Me and my friends have been waiting for this movie for ages… But I do not think I want to go watch this movie on weekend.

Ever since I quit my job I would rather do my activities during weekdays. Naturally, the downside point is I should be prepare to go home around 3 PM before people going home from all over places and all public transportations would be nightmare on the street. Pack with full of people along with them are pickpockets as well. Or I just stay at the mall until late at night to ensure that the street would be a bit emptier.

Same thing with going to the mall for looking on special discount (yeah, I still love hunting things with cheaper price). I remembered when malls in Jakarta start to make discount event for the first time. Usually they started the event on Friday and will end in Sunday. My friends and I went to the mall after office hour and found ourselves with headache. Too many people rush on shopping as if there is no tomorrow. They were running here and there, they keep on trying to find something interesting from piles of clothes that already look so messy for me. And finally my friends and I gave up. We were exhausted already from the office and seems have no stamina to deal with this. Then we have to face traffic jam around the mall as more people still coming for the discounted items.

If you decided to watch a movie on weekend then get ready to spend hours lining up to buy tickets for it. Especially movies that people have been waiting to see like for example Pirate of the Carribeans, Lord of the Ring and now the last edition of Harry Potter. Unfortunately the second part of it will be released next year, so again adoring fans will have to wait that long before finally able to see the movie.

I remember when I used to queue with my friends for movie tickets. Sometimes we have to come home and not watching movie at all. Or often, because we already too tired to stand in line for a long time, we decided to sit separately inside the theatre just as long as we would be able to watch the movie. Or worst, we just bought the ticket where we have to sit on the second line from the screen. You could imagine how cranky our neck after watching the movie. Especially watching movie with 3D screen, it was not a lovely experience.

So, I think I will wait patiently until next week and just watch the movie with not so many people around me hunger to get in the line first just for the name of movie… (Funny…, I was doing it too!)

Multi Level Marketing...hmmmph...

I know that people has the right to find income the most decent way they could ever come up with. But it is also my right to not like the way those people do whenever they have joined an MLM group. MLM as we know is Multi Level Marketing. They sell products and recruiting people to become their downline. The person who is able to recruit more and more people will be rewarded by receiving point. Thus, their income increasing magnificently.

Though I do understand that increasing income by recruiting more people made them go wild in finding more people to recruit them…I totally despise their way towards other people. They really go all the way to recruit people. And that including lying as well.

A few years ago, my mother was approached by our neighbor offering alternative medication for her and for me. She eagerly accepted the offer as they said it is not expensive compare with medication bill from the hospital. The place was so freaking far away from our home and I totally cursed the day that woman approaching my Mom. Sure, the alternative medication is not expensive. But THE MEDICINE that we have to buy along with the membership of that MLM really emptying my pocket in just few seconds. It turn out…both of my Mom and me did not get better. In fact, my Mom admitted to the hospital thanks to that stupid MLM organization. I warn my Mom NOT to talk to that damn neighbor EVER. Who knows, once we act normal towards her again she will immediately trying to sell another product. She is really shameless and heartless as she only thinking about making profit for herself by taking advantage on other people.

My friend told me another story. Her school mate from kindergarten called her asking how is she and asking for a meeting. She said she would love to catch up with my friend. Thinking that it would be lovely to talk about old times she agreed to see her. You know what, within seconds her old school mates suddenly brought two of her upliner and they went straight on explaining about their business and such. My friend then texting her hubby to call her and when he did, she pretend that her hubby already at the car park to pick her up. Without saying another word, she walked out from that ambush.

Last one, once I was contacted by school mate from high school asking to see me. At first I was very excited and said yes. But then two days before our catching up, she asked me to confirm whether I really able to go or not. When I asked why I need to confirm to her she then said she need to confirm my attending to a meeting. I quickly realized that she is another MLM agent and immediately I told her I could not confirm. In the end, I even cancelled our meeting. Sighed…

I suppose they need to be aggressive, shameless and heartless in pursuing their prosperity. And hopefully I will not turn into be one of them just in the name of money and traveling around the world for free...

Maid abused - AGAIN

Before I start my rants, just wanna wish you all Selamat HARI RAYA IDUL ADHA bagi yang merayakan.

Recently I read the news that there is another Indonesian maid being abused brutally by the family that hired her in Arab Saudi. This is her recent photo taken from Jakarta Globe

Naturally, there is no more to say than the person who tortured her inhumanly must be really vicious or cruel and really have no appreciation for human life.

But anyway, we have to see several facts about Indonesian people working in abroad.

Many of them willingly work as illegal worker in foreign countries. Therefore naturally they feel afraid to report any abuse or mistreatment to the Indonesian authorities. They realized that they came to that country illegally and therefore they are already breaking the law. Plus, usually since they entered the country illegally all their documents were being kept either by the agency or their employer.

Second, most of them are probably illiterate and unable to speak any foreign language let alone Arabic. Can you imagine going to the foreign country but unable to speak other than your own native language? How in the heck are you going to communicate with your employer and vice versa? Through telepathic by looking at each other and you like…oh, okay…you want me to do this and that. Or perhaps through hands making all signs to ensure all people understand each other. I mean, really?

Third, since they are illiterate, entered the country illegally, nobody give them any training whatsoever about anything that they have to face. My mom said Indonesian people are known for being TOO friendly. If we meet people, we acknowledged them by smiling. If we have no idea what they are talking about, again…we just smile. If we are not agree with other people, before arguing back…we smile… Other people might interpret that smile incorrectly. Some might think the maid is flirting with all the men in the house though sincerely she did not mean that. In short, those differences in culture were never explained to them and therefore they just walk blindly to the unknown.

Fourth, I once read that there was a maid not happy with the work situation in Arab Saudi and she ran for help to the embassy. The employer said since they have paid for her, if  she do not wish to continue working there then the employer must get a replacement. Compare that with the situation in Indonesia. Mostly employer would rather lose the money through the naughty agency rather than being hassled more and more by them.

Either way, if that maid considered impolite, like to flirt, stupid (if she is clever do you think she want to be beaten up like that?) and unable to perform any works then just sent her home and claim for replacement for heaven sake. Do you really need to beat her like that and scar her forever?

Moody

People always saying not to go to the hairdresser when you are in a really bad mood... Like for example if you have a broken hearted and need something to forget the whole bad things... You decided you should cut your long beautiful hair becoming short. It turn out the short style really not for you and you walked out from the beauty parlor with regrets.

But what if the hairdresser is the one who has bad mood? Or perhaps you dining in a restaurant. You have been there for a couple of times and you love the food. But that night, everything taste so awful. Either you are in bad mood yourself and unable to taste the food as they are all seems bitter to you. Or the person who cooked that meal was not in a very good mood and affected his works. Either way, when you are doing anything out of impuls due to your bad mood or anger...mostly it would not end very well.

You will not be able to focus or concentrate on what you are really want to do. In the end, bad result is surely something you are going to get...

I guess our mood really affected us in such a way that it could ruin everything if we are not careful with it... Sighed... And to think that I am such a moody and impulsive person... Perhaps that's why I have never finished everything that I started? *THINKING HARD*

THE VALLEY

When my friend suggested that we have dinner at THE VALLEY located around Dago Atas I was a bit surprised. Considering that she has been in Bandung so many times...I thought she would have bored to go there... But she said that she never spent a night in Bandung whenever she went with her hubby. So, it has been ages since the last time she eaten there... And that was with me and my other friend :) I always loves dining there though the meals were not the kind that send you jumping for joy. But it is okay...though it is a bit pricey.

The driver that driving us from the car rental said that he was surprised to know that Jakartan people knew about this place... He is resident in Bandung but that was the first time he went to that place. The road was dark as located near the highland... Unless you really know where exactly you want to go, you could get lost for hours.

So what is so great about the place? If we see these picture taken from the year 2006...there is nothing special about the place.

But wait until the night come. All lights shimmering mesmerized us the visitors. After a while, we would not care whether the meals are expensive or we could hardly see the meals since we chose to eat out in the dark... It was supposed to be romantic moment for the couple but surely made our eyes soring when we tried to read the menu. Not to mention the cool breezing wind enough to make you shivering.

Nevertheless, we enjoyed the meal... And I would not mind going back there again in the future... As I LOVES the hot chocolate soo much :)
